The Solo/Duo catagory perform on six different stages along Beale Street - each club hosting ten performers in the Solo/Duo division.

Mack visits the Double Tree Hotel to hear, long-time friend Spencer Borhren present a program titled: Down the Dirt Road Blues - a history of the blues in America. 6:00 PM ...no rain tonight, but the temperature on Beale St., at Wet Willie's, is chilly ....but inside it's heating up with standing-room-only
